It's been months since I have made a card and posted. It feels good to be back home because I have been in the Houston area for the last three months watching our two year old granddaughter while her mommy and daddy were writing their dissertations. Yes, my husband and I unfortunately were there for Hurricane Harvey and it is something that I hope I never have to go through again. Luckily, our son lives on a little hill which kept us dry. His road flooded three feet high and most of his town was flooded very badly. At night I had the chance to sit down and color with the Kuretake zig clean color markers on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and a waterbrush. I loved using these markers especially on that paper which I bought at Hobby Lobby.

That coloring is fantastic. The whole card is elegant with the stitched corners, lace and bow. You couldn't have picked better background paper either.

I'm so excited to see another of your gorgeous creations. I had missed you and kind of wondering what's been happening! So glad that you and your family were ok during the hurricane.
