I made this for our friendÂ’s anniversary. It is a one layer card, with lots of sparkle and highlights and is also my first Kraft card.
I started by stamping the image first and coloring in with color pencils. Next I used a heart stencil and made the background with distress ink. For the sentiment I used a black glitter embossing powder. I also stamped a few extra hearts and used glossy accent on them to add some dimension.
After the basic steps I added alot more details with coloring with pencils on background hearts and using a white pencil. White pencil is like a magic pen on Fraft cardstock! I loved it!! There are before and after pictures on my blog post if you want to check it out.

Yay! Kraft cardstock is wonderful coupled with colored pencils, and good for you for giving it a try! I believe it will be received by the happy couple with great joy! And remember the joy when you present this card and say... I made this for YOU!
