For Patty's Falliday challenge, I was inspired by the colors of the photo. I went with light pink over peach. The oval behind the rose - covered with a layer of Antique Rose Nuvo drops - is a nod to the big, round moon (I had the oval already cut so chose to use it).
I die cut the rose in two colors of pink and then black, the leaves in two colors of green and black. Covered the pinks and greens with Wink of Stella for shine, then pieced them into place. I covered the oval with the Nuvo drops and used my finger to smudge it all over. After finishing, my DD thought some drops of the Antique Rose would be a nice finishing touch so they are on there too.
Thanks for the challenge Patty, and thanks for looking.

Catherine,
That rose is gorgeous!! Love the two shades of pink used for it and the wonderful shade of green on the leaves! Excellent thinking using the nuvo drops on the oval for light like the moon!

Gorgeous! Love the oval moon. The inlaid rose is so beautiful. Love the sparkle! Fabulous sentiment. Nicely placed by the punched corner which draws the eye. I love your other-than-Halloween card for the challenge. That's what I did, too. Great job! TFS
