Can't believe we're at the last day of Falliday Fest (I'm glad there's a catch up week as I am not currently caught up ). This is for Dina's challenge to stamp in the corner. I had started on MariLynn's Mixability Challenge to use alcohol inks and water yesterday but hadn't turned any of the bg's I made into cards yet. I had a full size panel, but decided to cut it smaller in the end. I used my MISTI and the marbling technique to layer colors on my leaf using craft inks. I then muddied things up a bit by stamping an olive dye ink over the top. So I added a bit more mustard which formed like droplets and decided to emboss that using UTEE. I stamped a bit of spatter onto the bg and then used a marker to shade around the leaf. I used my MISTI again for my sentiment as these words are one horizontal sentiment and I wanted them down next to the leaf. I also had to stamp a couple of times to make it legible over the bg. I love this bg paper and it picked up on the subtle blues in the marbled bg. I sponged the edges.

I love the turquoise with the coppery tones here - I have a pinterest board of pops of turquoise. Love the combination of the MIX technique, and thanks, too, for sharing your process. And thank you so much for playing along with my Falliday Fest challenge!
