I love "The Nightmare Before Christmas"! I was inspired by the pumpkins and luminescent purple colors in the movie poster. I used the heated pearls technique to attempt to achieve that luminescence - well, half my jar of pear-ex accidentally fell onto my panel AND Tombow glue does not bubble up nearly as well as school glue, so I pulled out my purple Glimmer Mist to add some more luminosity.
When I heated up the powder, it flew everywhere in a huge cloud!! The sun streaming through the window made the airborne particles sparkle so prettily that I wished another stamper was around to appreciate it with me LOL!
Oh, and the "What's This?" is a reference to a song in the movie.

I am laughing as I read of your antics in getting this lovely card completed. If there was a camera in everyone's craft room I know there is a tv show in there somewhere. In the end, your purple background is really shimmery even in the photo. Great design and you really captured the look and the colors. LOVE this!

I am cracking up at your story behind this card! Every craft room should have a hidden camera to capture what we go through! The resulting card is fabulous!

Love your story....we can all identify, I'm sure. I often drink my watercolor brush water instead of my coffee. lol. Your card turned out great, nonetheless. I love the way you incorporated the washi tape! Clever.
