About half this card is made of recycled materials. The Paris image is an old card front I saved....my sisterÂ’s handwriting is on the back ;)....the doily is cut from old sheet music I got in an antique store and the silver embellishments are called bookmark ends. These came from a store near me called Art Scraps and it is exactly what youÂ’d think...scraps and leftovers from art projects...I like to go there now and then and see what I can find..A lot of it works for kid projects but I have found some neat stuff for card making, too.

Polly, you win the prize for most recycling on a card. (J/K - there is no prize - other than the satisfaction of a job well done). You have really done an amazing job with so many different recycled items and they all go together so beautifully! Sheet music - a great idea! And that treasured card front from your sister. Cool! BUT... I think I need a road trip. Those silver embellishments make me want to visit that Art Scraps store. Hmmm... wonder how far I am from there??? It sounds like an awesome store and your card is one of their best advertisements, I'm sure!

Wow, Polly, this is beautiful on its own. Then, when you explain each element it gets even better. Perfect for this Falliday Fest challenge. So good to see you in the gallery.

I think you saved treasures that you have recycled. These are wonderful elements you have used.
