This is a peek inside Pemberley...the home of Jane Austen's character in Pride and Prejudice. Do you see Darcy and Miss Elizabeth dancing? I decided that they needed an appropriate bg so I masked the couple and stamped a toile scene to imitate wallpaper...I drew in the wainscoating. I added some border stickers around the edge and fussy cut a decorative bough that I colored...it's a pretty PSX stamp I got at a thrift store. TFL!

What a beautiful and nostalgic look into the past. Love the Victorian home with the dancing couple. The wallpaper and flooring are wonderful touches that add so much to this pretty scene.
Thanks so much for adding this creative and lovely card to the Home for the Holidays challenge gallery, Polly. I really love it.

This is gorgeous! Loved the book, and you certainly did a fabulous job on Pemberley! This looks so Victorian! Wish my instructor that taught a course on Jane Austen was still alive, she would love this as much as I do!

I knew who that was dancing in that very fine drawing room the minute I spotted it in the gallery. Pol you have put so much into this and every itty bitty inch is fabulous my friend.
