This is an example card for Carey's awesome sketch; she has three ovals on a curved background strip ~ lovely! I hope you try it out. Also, this is for Rebecca's Falliday Fest Challenge to use felt. The angel, tree and nutcracker were already assembled and decorated. They came from a pack that was purchased by my mother back in the 1950s. I inherited her craft supplies when she passed away years ago. I've been slowly using things over the years. These pieces were perfect for the sketch and the felt challenges. All I added was a star on top of the tree and a scrap of brown for the tree trunk. Terrific challenges! TFL

Your felt Christmas images have such a cheerful, old time feel; they remind me of the colorful felt stockings my mom made for us when we were kids : ). I love the fun designer paper you chose for this.

I love these old-school felt images. What a treasure to keep your memory of the connection with your mother alive. Thanks for sharing it with us - I just lost my mom and your story gives me hope I can still connect with her over the years even though she is not here any more. Sweet card, and great job with the sketch challenge.

Your felt Christmas images are beautiful and adorable! A wonderful way to use your Mom's images from the 50's, and your Christmas papers go perfectly with them.
