Carey really challenged us today with this sketch! But I sure had fun with it. And got some help from my Desmond. He helped me cut out the ovals. Both my kids just love cranking the Cuttlebug. And then helped me decide which direction my black and gold stripes should go. We had a great time crafting together
Ky's "Put Me In, Coach!" Falliday Fest Challenge gave me an excuse to try out this set that I got on ebay. I just wish that I had thought of this set two weeks ago when I needed a card for my brother's birthday!
Obviously, I had to make this card a Boston Bruins card. I was tempted to make one of the goalies into a Montreal Canadien (oooh, those Canadiens--our biggest rivals). But I didn't want to ruin my color scheme, so I have two Bruins goalies. Oh well. I call it artistic license.

Terrific take on the sketch! Love the hockey theme, even though I couldn't tell you that there are two goalies. The bold stripes really make it special. I like how you brought a little yellow onto the images, too. Well done for both challenges. TFS

This is perfect! Two goalies are better than one- lol!! Works great for the sketch as well as the Falliday Fest challenge- I am sure that the lucky recipient will be thrilled!
Aww! So sweet that you have a young stamper in the making!!! I always love to bounce ideas off my artsy teen. Not sure what I am going to do when she leaves home! I love how perfectly your images fit the oval die cuts!

Maybe you can just send it to your brother and tell him you are thinking of him. Any time is a great time to send a card. Love your interpretation of both the "play" theme and the sketch challenges. And I love that you involved your kids. Sweet story, great card.

well every hockey team has two goalies after all! My hubby is a Habs fan, so he would boo this card, lol! Great card and love the stamp set, our son used to play goal, and the other two sons were wingers.
