Another card I made while playing with my alcohol inks. The main challenge with this one was how to combine the alcohol inks with stamping on acetate, since I needed to use a solvent-based ink that would end up reacting with any alcohol ink it came in contact with. So I began by stamping my acetate with StazOn, then flipped it to apply my inks to the back. I was very careful not to let the alcohol inks seep under my acetate, lest they mess up my stamping! I applied ink to the leaves & flower with a felt blending tool, rather than just squirting them on and letting them run wherever. Once I had finished with the alcohol inks & they were dry, I die cut the pieces with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to a panel of white cardstock, trimming off the bottoms of the leaves where they went under the flower. I added glue dots to the center of the flower & the bottom ends of the leaves to tack them down, then squirted Perfect Paper Adhesive underneath the pieces to secure them in place. I stamped my greeting with Black Shimmer ink, so it kind of "hugs" the flower petal. I had to trim my panel down at the top & bottom edges to get the proportions right, so I added narrow strips of gold mirror & green cardstocks to fill that space. Finally, I adhered it to a white card base.
