For Barbara's Falliday challenge, we were challenged to use the bits and pieces leftover on our craft desks. Literally everything on this card was on my desk - though a couple of pieces were not leftovers but gifts I just received from Diane.
A while back I played with making salted watercolor backgrounds. I have several of these sitting waiting to be used. Also, I embossed multiple ribbons when that was the technique challenge a few weeks ago. The gold oval was just created today when I made the gold frame for Lisa's Falliday challenge. The flower was left over from a card made a while back, the white scalloped circle and hello die cut were gifts from Diane - thank you! I punched the butterfly out of the outer frame of the gold glitter paper.
When I put some glue on the ribbon to secure it, it bled the blue through. I'm not sure I like it but my DD does.
I had a lot of bits and bobs (as my DD calls them) so it took a bit of sorting to find these pieces, I do like how they came together to make this card.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

Your salted watercolor background is so beautiful. To me, it's the star of this show! I love that you used elements that were gifted to you, and I love the way you put them all together! Thanks for playing along in my challenge!
