I sanded my Marina Mist panel until it was so soft and it really did feel like suede. Patted the whole panel with VersaMark ink, sprinkled on Heat-n-stick powder, heated the entire surface, sprinkled on the glitter, lightly tapped off excess, and heated it again to set glitter. Very sparkly!
Misti Monday - Repeat Stamping with the Misti - Ombre Style.
I won a Mini Misti in the DTGD Event; thank you so much! I have a lot to learn. This challenge taught me how to use the grid pad to my advantage. I couldn't wait to try it. A full description was requested. I put my Whisper White cardstock in the upper left corner of the Misti on top of the grid pad. I laid the stamp down upside down to position it at the bottom of the cardstock, closed the lid to pick up the stamp, opened it up, applied ink to the snowflake, closed lid to stamp. Kept the stamp in the same positon, moved paper down 6 lines of the grid, cleaned the stamp to use the next color of ink, stamped the next snowflake and repeated one more time. This method evenly spaced the snowflakes top to bottom and side to side. Awesome! So quick and easy!
Layered the panel on the Iced Leather, added rhinestones. Left off sentiment until I use it. Two terrific challenges! Thank you to the hostesses and to you for looking.

Ah yes. I see how perfectly stamped your snowflakes are. Score! And your background looks amazing. I agree with you about how nice and soft the paper felt.

Wow Diane, your card is absolutely gorgeous! I love this wonderful bg technique you did. The ombre snowflakes turned out beautifully too. I love how your bg turned out because it looks like snow falling in the background and your snowflakes up front look that much closer then. Fun! ~Karen.

A beautiful background on this Diane and great MISTI technique on your snowflakes - I just heard about the MISTI challenges as well - how fun to get to learn how to use our MISTI's better!
