For Ceal's Falliday challenge, I inked up my acrylic block with distress ink, stamped the watercolor paper, put something heavy on the block and let it sit for a few minutes. Unfortunately, it created a bit of a mess on one side outside of the block area which is why it is trimmed down and matted. I heat embossed the bouquet and sentiment, then added that fun trim down the one side. To add some texture to the card base, I stamped it with the floral image from Timeless Textures using versamark ink for a tone on tone subtle effect.
Thanks for looking!

Oh Catherine, this is just gorgeous! I love this stunning bg and how it makes this embossed bouquet just "pop" off the paper. This trim you used is fabulous and works perfectly with this card. I never ever think to just use versamark in this manner so thank you for the wonderful inspiration because I love how you kept the bg more subtle so the image panel shines. ~Karen.
