I used a mask on the little pumpkin, so it would be in front of the tall pumpkin. Using a stamp positioner, I stamped each pumpkin 3 times with different Oxide inks, randomly placed the ink on the stamp, sometimes spritzing the image first before stamping. I dried it off between stamping with a heat gun, being careful not to move my positioner. When the pumpkins were done, I made a mortise of both images, so only the colored pumpkin showed, protecting the background. I then stamped their different textures. The double stamped offset look of the stems, added to the vintage 1950's feel to the piece, hence the name Daddio Pumpkins.
