This is for three challenges. Lydia's Falliday Fest (Get Drunk). Although those "getting drunk" days are long long gone for me, it was fun to play with alcohol again in this way. I used the new tutorial, and Yupo paper. I was really happy to discover that my alcohol inks are still useable!
This was also for the color challenge this week, although I think I cheated a bit on the exact colors.
This was also for the sketch challenge this week too.
Mostly it is for my husband's birthday. He is a quilter (yes, you read that right - he is the quilter of the household!). I wanted to make him something really special.
This took way longer than a card has a right to. (Turns out I can't stamp effectively on Yupo. But it's not for lack of trying.) I also discovered the way that working with this new quilting set by SU! will work for me.
Thanks for looking. Have an awesome day. Happy Birthday, Honey. I love you forever!

Love how you used the quilt die with the alcohol ink background. Fabulous card for your DH. The sentiment is lovely. It was trial and error with your process - you learned a lot and your effort was well worth it. Look at the beautiful card you created. Love it! Well done with the layout. Thanks for playing in the Sketch Challenge. TFS

What a fabulous card for your hubby and it is so cool that he is a quilter! The quilt die looks great with the alcohol background and that verse is from one of my fav retired SU! sets! I am sure your hubby will love this birthday card- hugs and tfs!
