ha, I read the whole blog story ( I think the elf on the shelf is creepier...) but, your card made me think of those old Calvin and Hobbes comic's where there are dead snowman bodies all over the yard. I love how you painted these cute ones.

Oh Lydia this is so stinking adorable. Super cute snowman and love the pop or the red cardinal. I am going to have to look up to find out how bit UK cards are I am unfamiliar with their size. Snowmen do not scare me however I swear spiders are going to kill me one day because they scare the dickens out of me no matter how small, I am going to jump out of the way of one and fall to my death one day. Love this fun card with all the masking you have done.
p.s., like Stacy, it made me think of Calvin's many snowmen scenes, but I think there's a Peanuts one with Linus, which is much sweeter, just like this.

So beautiful!!!! I absolutely adore the placement and beauty of the cardinal. Your snow is amazing. I smiled at your description. I LOVE the way masking looks but I don't love doing the work of masking. I had so much fun creating my sample though maybe I will get over the dislike! Masking opens tons of possibilities.
