Thank you Bev for hosting one of the Falliday Fest Challenges today! I did a simple masking - cutting a circle out of a panel, laying the circle over the panel and sponging the blue sky around it. Then I removed the circle mask and placed the negative mask covering the sky and revealing the moon and sponged the moon yellow. Since they are water based inks - I could flick water over the panel to create waterspots.
I die cut the cat and fence out of black and layered them over the base of the moon and stamped this fun sentiment from Rubbernecker over the moon!
I left the little white edge that didn't get sponged on the left side of the moon because I thought it actually looked more realistic - that hard edge of light around the moon! usually I would have blended in something like that.
