| | I made this card for 2 challenges. I am just about late for last week's Teapot Party in which we are sending an anniversary card to Jan and Ray for 60 years of marriage. I cannot miss an opportunity to wish this couple a very happy anniversary. This solved my problem on what to make for the letter H alphabet challenge for last week. The H in this card is the word Happy. It is a bit of stretch so I hope this is ok to do. A friend of mine stamped this rose image and sent it to me with some other goodies. Then she allowed me to come over and play with her new polychoromos colored pencils. Wow! What a treat to play with her new pencils. They go down like butter. I still need to learn how to use them so this is not my best work, but I sure had fun! The Teapotters theme is all about celebration so I decided to splatter some ink onto the card to give it the appearance of confetti. I just scribbled a colored pencil onto an acrylic block, added some water, picked it up with a paint brush and knocked the paint brush against my finger. Fun! Thanks for looking today. ~Karen. |
