I love a good technique challenge, so Dina's first challenge for Falliday Fest is right up my alley. Although, I was wishing that my name was Fran or something because I love a good Faux technique. I had two choices for my "J" technique, and since I remember doing a joy fold card last year for Falliday Fest, I went with Joseph's Coat--a fun technique for sure.
Something's off with my sponging mojo though. I don't know why I am simply incapable of nice neat sponging anymore. Perhaps I should have used a brayer like the tutorial said...
This is also for Misti's "Add a Layer" CAS challenge. She challenged us to add a layer to our cards because it's fall and it's supposed to be getting cooler. I was shedding layers last night. It was so hot in my room that I really should have put the AC on. So, I'm envisioning a nice cool night with a nice warm beverage and a sweatshirt. My extra layer is a doily.

Super card! I think a lot of people are going to agree with that sentiment.

Hi gallery neighbor and fellow J initial name. I like everything featured on your card. The Joseph's coat made a great background for your coffee themed card.

Amen! Love the colors in your Joseph's Coat. It's harder having a J name, there weren't too many J tutorials Absolutely love how you used this technique, the colors are so pretty.
