This was better in my head. It must be too early for me this morning. I chose this snail ornament to make a CAS belated birthday card. But then I decided I didn't want to just put it on a white background. I think that's where I went wrong. I chose this Colorbok paper because it reminded me of a Victorian design and the color was neutral enough. Then I embossed the snail in gold to match my inspiration ornament and colored him with metallic gel pens (and gave him a little slime trail). And finished off with the sentiment stamped in Rich Cocoa. I think the snail (the only snail stamp I own) is just too small for this big print.

Oh, a snail is perfect for a belated birthday card. I would not have thought of the slime trail...great idea. Love your paper.

What a beautiful victorian background, and I love the little snail. Perfect little addition for a belated card. I need a snail stamp, as I am always belated getting cards into the mail. LOL
