This is my sample for Lisa's WTUI challenge this week. I was keen to use the playing card die set I got from Serendipity Stamps - and to my delight, when I had finished making a little mini-book, it fit into my recent matchbox suitcase, so I've shown the book closed inside it, for a sense of scale.
I used 8 playing card die-cuts - the backs of each were stencilled (as here). For the cover, I added a sentiment from Verve and a bow cut from a scrap. This also serves to lift it out of the little matchbox.

This is amazing, and I just commented on the suitcase. What great details with the handle and the "leather" corners with the railheads...like suitcases used to be. What a lovely gift this would make! Hugs!

That is awesome that the cards fit perfectly in your matchbox suit case. Very clever and quite handy they work together. Love the bow to be used for the handle. Thank you for the great samples.

I loved your vintage suitcase when you first dazzled us with it. Now it looks even more amazing with your card book. You must be thrilled to bits with this Sabrina.
