Hello, my friends!!! I had to take a break from Irma cleanup and create a card! My driveway is half full of debris from the storm, and it has yet to be picked up by the county. I'm trying to be patient, but gee, it has been close to a month! I'm sure they are working as fast as possible as there was a lot of damage in my county. I just want to see a clean driveway!!
On to the card. This card is for Lee's Pumpkin Time CAS challenge, and Mary's color challenge. I do not have the selected ink colors for the CC so I used Hero Arts Distress Oxide inks that are closely related.
I sponged the inks on a piece of white card stock and used the finished piece to cut out the pumpkins, candle, leaves, corn stock, etc. I used VersaMark ink to stamp the sentiment and covered it with copper embossing powder and heat set it. I assembled the pieces for the card and added three sequins.
I hope you enjoy the card! It sure felt good to make it!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!

Oh, Bev, it is so good to see you here. You already know how happy I was you were safe during Irma. I know you want to see your driveway clean again and I hope it is soon. I'm so happy you decided to leave the debris and take a day to make this beautiful card. And, what a wonderful message you left on it. I LOVE this autumn card. Your candle looks so peaceful at a time when the country is in such turmoil in so many ways. Glad you're back and hope to see more and more of your work as time permits. Sending big huggies.

Beautiful! Love how you used the colors with all these lovely die-cuts, the heat embossing and even the sequins. Exquisite! Fabulous white eyelet & stitched frames. Love the verse! So sorry for all the clean-up and debris filled driveway. Very happy you are doing okay and could enjoy some card-making today! TFS

Welcome back dear friend! My goodness, you sure know how to come back with a real bang my friend because this card is beyond gorgeous- it is breathtakingly beautiful! You have certainly been missed! So glad you are safe. Your impatience with cleanup is a very good sign Bev because that means things are starting to improve and I am so glad to read this. Hang in there a little longer. Easier said than done, I know! Back to your card, I love the soft sponging on all of your die cut pieces and the gorgeous way you framed this entire image out is just incredible. This is going right into my favs! ~Karen.
