A sample for TLC568, you can find a description, some tips and a link to the tutorial HERE.
I used first a layer of buff titanium acrylic and when it was dry, went over it loosely with white acrylic. When dry I embossed and sanded, then sponged with old paper and a little peacock feathers.
The sentiment was stamped on vellum with Encore Gold and embossed with gold ep. I tore the edges, and folded it over the embossed panel before attaching it to a gold base layer.
The feather was cut from one of the many scraps of watercoloured tissue still littering my desk - I stuck it to some white card first. It's popped up in the centre with a foam dot and stuck down at each end.

So pretty! I should have read your description first before I played along the challenge. I loved your idea of using 2 layers of acrylic paint and really liked how this card turned out.

This is beautiful Sabrina!! I love the verse embossed in gold and your pretty feather. I found myself wishing for a verse today also, but didn't come up with one. Thanks for the cool challenge today. :>)
