I used a pale blue paint, and sponged with mowed lawn and iced spruce. Added Stickles all round the edge and some sequins in the centre of the Taylored Expressions snow flakes. The sweet snowman (thanks, Polly), is popped up on foam tape, and I added some die-cut words from metallic silver to finish it, also matting onto a silver base.

Sabrina, I really like the colors used for your embossed distress technique. The subtleness of the two-tone colors of the snowflakes is lovely and is the perfect backdrop for your sweet snowman image. The irridescent sequins with silver sentiment is a nice touch of sparkle!

I love the extra icy look you've given the distressed bg not only with the color combo, but also with the addition of the irridescent sequins centering the snowflakes and the chilly silvery sentiment.

Another cool technique to add to my list of things I want to try one day. Your card is so cute, I love that adorable snowman. The hints of lavender that the sequins give looks great
