This is for Carla's Way to Use It Challenge for DIY embellishments. Her Pinterest board for embellishments is amazing! I recently found this panel in my stash with the vine & grapes already stamped, on which I stamped "just because". I thought of making some kind of dots to accent. I put a layer of Stickles on eggplant cardstock and misted Perfect Pearls on olive cardstock. After they both dried, I punched out circles. I punched one more circle (for the rule of three) from a gold glitter cardstock scrap. The grapes have glitter and the leaves have gold stickles. The butterfly was cut from a cancelled postage stamp. I don't usually think about DIY embellishments, but I will consider trying it more often. Thanks Carla! TFL

I think your keyword is wrong, because I knew I have looked at all the cards in the WT gallery the the week and certainly didn't see this beauty. Every element is beautiful - the dots, the butterfly, the vines, your layout.

Diane, this is so pretty! Love your DIY dots and your recycled butterfly. I hadn't thought to reuse stamps. Thanks for the idea and for playing in my challenge!

The hint of the stickles on the grapes and leaves is a clever way to add extra texture and interest to the row of grapes. And that butterfly punched from an old postage stamp - WOW, that is a fabulous idea and I wish I had thought to do that! Fortunately I have squirreled away a ton of cancelled butterfly postage stamps, and I am going to "borrow" your oh so fun idea! TFS the card and the tip about the how you did the butterfly.

What a wonderful creation! I absolutely love that sweet butterfly and what a great idea to use it. Finding that stamped panel was a stroke of luck too. Love it all!!!
