This card was designed for the SC664 Sketch Challenge (modified the sketch slightly) along with the WT648 "Let's Go Faux" Challenge using a long ago retired SU! set, Pheasant Thoughts (from 2005- not even in our SCS gallery).
I created the faux feathers with stamps and fussy-cutting- am I not sure if faux feathers are considered a "faux" technique but maybe they should be- lol!?
I am also linking this card to the Divine Design Bible Verse Challenge for 2017, the All Occasion Card Challenge for September as well as the USEIT2017 Challenge (I have not inked up Pheasant Thoughts in a few years).
I have more details and free step by step instructions on My Blog :-)
Thanks again for looking- you are all such an encouragement to me!! Hugs and I hope you have a blessed week, sweet friends!

Oh my goodness, Julie, this is an awesome nature-themed card. That image, the knotted heavy twine, the woodgrain element and especially the pheasant feathers and decorative brad! This all comes together just beautifully. It immediately took me back to my childhood when two large and gorgeous cross-stitch ppictures hung in our living room. One had pheasants, a male and female; the other I believe was geese. It's the pheasant that always attracted me. Anyway, my mother made those for my dad and they are beautiful, as is your card!
