September has been a fun month and has quickly vanished before my very eyes. I'm sad because this is the fourth and final week of my time as a guest designer. It's also the last week of September, summer is gone and fall is upon us. At least Stef gave us some wonderful colors, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Fresh Fig. Unfortunately, I didn't have any of the colors so I got as close as I could. I wasn't sure about the dessert being metallic so I hope my metal wheelbarrow will get me some cookies. When these little Critters finish with their square dance, I think they'll have worked up an appetite from all the picking and playing.
Stamps are stampourri artist Lisa Hindsley.
Dies: impression obsession-wheelbarrow, trees, Amy signs, Frantic Stamper Hey Y'all, straw is Elizabeth Crafts
Paper is rust spots by Nostalgiques The Attic Collection, while Georgia pacific and Michaels purple from a multi pack.
I tried Dini's tutorial to watercolor the image and then use pencils.
*I first used SU markers and a aqua brush with the basic black.
*Next I used prisms pencils to color the animals and shade the straw...this wasn't the easiest thing I've tried lately...get ready for the colors.
Canary yellow # 916, Spanish Orange #1003, Peach Clair # 927,
Goldenrod # 1034, Siena Brown # 946, warm gray # 1054, & # 1056, and
Parma Violet # 932, Mulberry # 995, Rouge Pavot # 922, White # 11. Wow!!!
I used black memories ink to stamp the animals and Versa Mark for the signs and embossed with brown embossing powder.

Tonda, I love this easel card. So many good things to take in and I love all those animals but, for me, the fox is the life of the party. He's really having a blast. :) Great job with all those colors. This is an awesome scene and I love it.

You've created another terrific scene, Tonda! I love those cute squirrels and the fox pulling the wheel barrow, and the gorgeous trees and leaves in the background. As Karen said, you totally nailed this challenge! It's been great having you as a guest designer this month!
