Stef is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and oh, boy! Stef, you really challenged me with these colors! They are Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Fresh Fig. The dessert option is metallic.
I decided to start with dessert (life is short-eat dessert first!), so I stamped a piece of White cardstock with the ancient Paisley background stamp from SU with VersaMark ink, then sprinkled gold embossing powder and heat set it. I sponged the three ink colors randomly onto the background, then buffed with a tissue. I cut the "for YOU" greeting from Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry, added some Fresh Fig ribbon and called it "Good." Well, fairly good. Acceptable. Almost.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Are you kidding? This is so awesome Barbara! After seeing how gorgeous your background turned out, I wish I still had that old bg stamp! Beautifully done!

I think there's nothing better than that "ancient" Paisley background embossed in gold and I almost did the EXACT same thing on my card this morning, but chose to emboss another oldie in gold instead
