This ended up with a LOT more "movement" than I anticipated but since I need to leave for work in a few minutes, I'll post what I ended up with . . . .
I started with glossy stock and randomly dropped alcohol ink onto it. I moved the drops a bit with my finger then misted with hairspray wiich really sent it swirling! I had originally stamped & embossed my image in white but it totally looked like a GLOB so I stamped it again using a Royal Satin Rainbow pad onto glossy stock & embossed with Kaleidascope powder. It gives it alot of sparkle but I couldn't capture that in the picture.
Fussy cut and mounted the image over the "glob" with mounting tape - Oh yeah - It's gonna be a WILD PARTY!

Yeah, I think that if you add alcohol inks over white EP they cover it. I still don't understand why the magic snowflake technique works, it must be that heating it reactivates the embossing or something, because certainly adding the ink over the embossing obliterates it almost totally. Your background is gorgeous, I'm glad you were able to re-stamp the glob and add it back in again.
