I created my card using the cling wrap tutorial Lydia gave us here on SCS. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a mister.
It is hard for me to cut with a craft knife and recently bought a hot knife which made it much easier. I bought it to mount some stamps I wanted and had to buy unmounted. I love it...super tool. I had to cut away the white cardstock where I stamped this image between the donkey and Joseph and another small place or two. The rest I cut out with scissors.

The rich colours in the background are beautiful, Brenda - and I like the light aqua colour you used for Mary, I usually think of darker blues. Great image for a really meaningful Christmas card. I've always wondered about hot knives - but know I've given up on EZ-mount and just go bare rubber, I don't think I would need one as much.

This is so special Brenda and I'm sure it looks even more special in real life. Your new knife sounds interesting....and dangerous. I must check it out.

Oh, Brenda, your background is absolutely amazing, and I love how you've colored this precious family. I agree with Sabrina that the pale aqua color is lovely, and cutting out this image was a feat! I know that myself...beautifully done! I love the perfect sentiment too! Hugs, sweet friend!
