This week the alphabet challenge is on the letter F with a double challenge of swirls. As you can see, no double challenge for me. My letter F item is faux leather. I followed the tutorial here: Faux Leather With Masking Tape Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
After I made the "leather" panel, I ran it through the Big Shot with the stitched rectangle die and circle framelit. It kind of frayed the edges but I thought that went with the aged look of the card. I stamped the image in Early Espresso, cut an Early Espresso frame for the window. It was fun to try the faux leather tutorial and I like the effect it created.

What a fabulous masculine card this is Catherine! Wow! Your faux leather bg turned out wonderfully and I love how you added the stitching to it. This train image is so beautifully detailed it looks 3D in appearance. My husband loves how you added this to a blue cardbase because blue is his favorite color. This will be a big hit with the recipient for sure. ~Karen.
