This card is for today's colors (great fall choices Pam!) and I used the optional leaves! as well as yesterdays fun Technique challenge watercolored and gold embossed tissue (see the great video from Loll that Sabrina linked to in the challenge!)
Well, I was very impatient for my water colored tissue to dry - and then again waiting for it to dry when I glued it to the white card panel. I encouraged the drying with my heat tool.
So - I don't know if it was still wet or if I didn't scrunch the tissue up enough to give tall crinkles - but when I went to emboss - the gold powder covered the whole panel - NOT to be deterred, I just brushed the powder off all the spaces, leaving it on the ridges and it worked out fine!
for my colors I used Distress inks in Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Cintron and Seedless Grapes that I rubbed on my craft mat and spritzed with water and then laid my tissue over the watery colors.
The lovely gold leaf die cuts were gifted to me by Bonnie Klass (Thank you Bonnie!) so I don't know what dies they are. I did use a sticthed rectangle die from Lil Inker to cut the tissue papered panel.
What a great technique Sabrina! I've made several sheets of tissue with different colors so they'll be dry when I make some more cards!

Your technique turned out beautifully! The gold leaves are perfect for your background! A tip for the next time..I used alcohol instead of water, it dries faster.

Very pretty with all the gold embellishments and beautiful color blend on yout tissue piece. (Tip- if you dust your tissue piece with anti-static before applying versamark it helps keep the embossing powder from sticking to the entire surface.)

This turned out great..very pretty and artistic with that awsome bg. My ep stuck to a lot of the bg, too (guess I forgot to use an embossing buddy)..I just used a paintbrush to get rid of some that stuck to the bg....but hey, it's all good ;)
