Pam is our hostess for the 653rd Color Challenge and she has chosen a fabulous fall themed color scheme of Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive, and dessert is leaves.
To start, I taped down the leaf stencil over the crumb cake panel then used ink blending tools to blend similar colored Distress Inks, making sure to overlap the colors on some of the edges. Next, a small amount of White Gouache paint was mixed with water and splattered with a small paint brush. When that was dry, the panel was layered on the slightly larger piece of white card stock, wrapped with the BT, then popped up on the orange card base with foam tape. The sentiment was die cut 3 times, glued together then adhered to the top panel. The word "you" was heat embossed on black card stock, then had trimmed before adding just below the die cut.
I hope you'll take time to join us with this week's great color challenge!

I have been marveling over your card. You've done such beautiful blending with your stencil, and the white splatter is perfect. It all looks so good on that colored background, too.
