I made this a couple of weeks ago to share on the Art Neko blog (currently down as the store is getting a major revamp).
I used some DOX inks to create a wrinkle-free distress background, and then stamped and embossed the collage image. I stamped a postmark on another bit of the background piece, punched it and coated it with a couple of layers of UTEE.
The base is part of a map of Paris. I sponged it with vintage photo to distress it a bit, but it was still quite a strong colour, so I added some embossed and sponged vellum over part of it to mute it, and stitched with black thread. Image panel has the edges distressed and is popped up on foam tape.

FABULOUS Paris map...sponged and sponged vellum add over-top...love the black zigzag stitching. Great wrinkle-free bg with Parisian stamp and frayed distressed edges...GREAT card with lots of talent and techniques used!

As beautiful as I hear Paris is. I have never been but anyone that knows me , knows I love to create cards with the fablous E Tower! and yours has surely caught my attention. So gorgeous.
