I sized the image in Photoshop, and printed it onto a piece of watercolor paper. I colored it with my Inktense pencils, using a damp paintbrush to pick up the color from the pencils & apply it to the paper. I used a Carmine Pink Inktense pencil to add rosy cheeks, and added freckles with a white gel pen. Starting in the center, towards the bottom of the background panel, I marked cutting lines for the ribbon weaving with a pencil. I used my craft knife to cut on those lines, and wove my ribbon through them, adhering the ends to the back of my panel. For the grass, I die cut a strip from green cardstock, and inked it with Peeled Paint to add some depth. I glued it to the bottom of my focal panel, and trimmed off the excess. After matting my image with brown cardstock, I adhered that to my background, & mounted the card front to a white A2 card base.
