This card is for two of the challenges this week. First, Lisa asked us to use an oldie but goodie stamp. This is one of my all time favorite stamp from way back. Love those detailed stamps. Wendy asked us to be inspired by the 70's. Immediately thought of the color choices for home furnishings at this time. It was either olive green, gold, orange or brown. My kitchen was all olive green, even the cupboards along with the appliances. One tires of this after awhile, but back then the appliances were made to last 15 to 20 years. Needless to say all appliances have been white since those days. Colored the image with watercolor pencils after stamping it with the walnut stain ink. Using an olive green pencil made the background, added some white highlights. The frame was from my scrapbooking days. TFL

What a truly gorgeous horse image and so beautifully colored. That frame is fabulous. This is an outstanding card. Avocado green? When DH and I first got married we didn't have much money (he was still in college) and my boss blessed us with her old kitchen table. It had a formica fake wood grain top and avocado green metal legs and we were thankful to have it! In fact, when we were done with it, my mom adopted it!

Linda, that horse is a beauty and such awesome framing. I like the denim and brads, too. You've given this card so many wonderful touches.

I love this stamp Linda and really love seeing all the amazing cards you create with it. When looking for western cards in Pintrist I run across your cards with these images and just love each and every one of them and can't wait to see what new cards you are creating with the stamp. Thank you so much for playing along and bringing this goodie stamp.

I love this image. I have it somewhere in my stash. I must bring it out and use it again. Got some horse loving friends that would enjoy a card featuring this handsome horse. Speaking of handsome. That is on HANDSOME card you have made. I really like the papers and embellishments you used .
