This is for the Oldie But Goodie Ways to Use it Challenge today. This Hero Arts Gracious Lady is one on my oldies but goodies. I inked her up with Blackberry Bliss which is very juicy, and then I put on Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder by Ranger, and heat embossed her. She is very sparkly, but couldn't get it to show in the photo. And I took about 5 photos, still couldn't see the sparkle. I have had this EP for years, and it wasn't even opened. It still works!
Recently a Alpha Sister shared some things that we realize as we age. Well, I was reminded of one the things she quoted today, as I ruined three panels of paper trying to make a background again with the letterpress. It was "the biggest lie I tell myself is I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it." I didn't remember in what one day the sandwich on the bigshot for that letterpress plate. Ok if you have a letterpress plate, so you don't have to hunt for the youtube, like I had to today, because I will give you the sandwich.

Thanks for looking and reading, if you did. LOL

Awesome card. What a cool vintage image. I can imagine it is sparkly IRL. Pretty! Love the letterpress background. Thank you for the "sandwich recipe". It will save me a lot of time! You have inspired me to get mine out. Well done on your card! Fabulous color. TFS

Lovely Sharon. I bet it looks sparkly irl. I wrote down your advice for the letterpress, thinking I had one, but just looked it up and it is a texturz plate I have, which I have never used. But thanks anyways, lol......

Such a pretty lady, Sharon, and I love the Blackberry Bliss paper. That's such a great color and design. I know what you mean about writing things like that down. But, what if you write it down and can't find it when you need it? HA I do that and then have to get on youtube to find the answer.

Wow, Sharon- this is gorgeous! I am sure that the image sparkles IRL (it is very difficult to photograph any type of glitter, shimmer, etc. so we understand :-)) Love the letterpress background and thanks for the sandwich info- hugs!

What a great vintage image and fab monochromatic card. We will all imagine the sparkle. Sometimes I think flash or an extra little light directed onto the card is the only way to capture it.
