I used one of the stamps out of this set last week. When I saw the challenge I thought of this set, this is my favorite out of my collection of older stamps! It's a 2002 set. I did an inventory of my stamps a few weeks ago and couldn't find it. I looked everywhere, my daughter had borrowed it.
The paper Outlaw I have been hoarding and also Mellow Moss. I added a star brad and a Concho. I bought them to go on Western cards until I realized you had to pay extra postage.
Lisa mentioned about converting wood stamps. I decided to leave my stamps on the blocks. What I do is pull the rubber off the wood, cut a piece of transparency paper and put between the rubber and wood. That way I can use my stamp with my Misti. Just a suggestion. TFL

I love this card. I like the distressing and the image. I have several concho's for western cards, too. I don't like paying the extra postage so I usually put them on cards that is going to a family member who can receive the card in person.

GREAT vintage western card...love the distress frayed edges and two-tone angled bg. Love the concho with ribbon...so just the right finishing for your card!

Wonderful image and a super embellishment to go with it. I like your distressed edging. Great tip for the wood stamps to save the wood and use the MISTI.

That is a great image and I like how you used it with the distressing and that cool embellishment. I'm going to try your tip...I have tons of wood mounted stamps and have no ambition to unmount them all as some have done but I would like using some of them in my MISTI now that I have one,,,,thanks.
I love that image! I have one sheet of that paper , too! We do hoarde, don't we?! Your concho was the perfect embellishment for your wonderful creation.

I love this great image. I saw your other card and really loved that image and this one is just as amazing. Wonderful paper you paired with it as well. I am confused on the transparency and being able to use it with the Misti. I am trying to wrap my thoughts around how to do it. So glad to see that you are able to use an older image from your collection. Thank you for playing along.
