It is an honor to case one of Chris Smith's (inkpad) cards as she is the Featured Stamper for this week! Congratulations, Chris, you have a beautiful gallery and deserve this recognition. Enjoy your week as we honor your artwork!
I chose this card to case as it features the Stampin' Up! awesome Botanical Framelits Die.
I'll be back later today for more details. It is WAY past my bedtime!!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments!

P.S. I'm back to add details about my card. Chris and I used the same dies but I changed my location of the leaf die, and I also used the die to dry emboss the Rich Razzleberry card stock on the left. If you look close, you may be able to see it. My colors are different from Chris' as well as the design.
I used a PTI stencil to blend ink onto a piece of white card stock using Seedless Peserves and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks. Then I used the leaves die to cut the piece in half. I used a second piece of white card stock onto which I blended the same colors and die cut the flower and stamen.
After die cutting the pieces, I sprayed a Hero Arts White Shimmer Spray onto them. This spray came in Hero Arts August's monthly kit. It is remarkable and beautiful. It provides such shimmer and when dried, there is a gold look to it. I wish you could see it in real life! I love it.
I also used the mist to spray on the sentiment, Hope, that I die cut from the second piece of card stock with blended colors. I cut three of these and glued them together for dimension. Unfortunately, my camera did not capture the beauty of this mist, but if you look closely, you may see it somewhat! Enjoy!
