I had done a card like this a while back when I first got the framelit set Halloween Scene, but someone posted a card using the long wavy die from Swirly Scribbles as a way to sponge the eerie waves of color behind the tree. I'm sorry, I don't know who it was now, but thanks for the great tip.
Cut a scrap of CS with the Swirly Squibbles die and used the edge left on the scrap of CS as a mask to sponge alternating layers of Rich Razzleberry and Perfect Plum across Whisper White CS. Tree piece is popped up. Moon is a 2-inch circle of Crushed Curry, sponged with Pumpkin Pie and tucked in behind the tree at the end. Sentiment and Bats from Spooky Fun SS, Tree cut from black glimmer paper using Halloween Scene die.

Do love that sponged/ masked sky...great colors to achieve this LUSCIOUS color combination! GREAT sponged moon with the spooky bats swirling and the craggy tree!
