This week's F4A392 challenge is a fun one! Create a National Day of you! If you follow me you won't be surprised to see that cats are featured on my National day. I also LOVE pink so I had to get that in and Fall IS my favorite season so I used this great sentiment from The Project Bin's, New Leaf stamp set. Once upon a time, I would have told you winter was my favorite time of year but the older I get, Fall wins. I also happen to be lucky enough to reside in a place that has lengthy autumns with moderate temps!
I used a version of the Smackin' Acetate technique. I stamped oxide inks on acetate, spritzed with water then dabbed the ink in a controlled pattern for a sunset sky look. I usually use the Wrinkle Free Distress technique for something like this but by stamping on acetate I had more control over where the ink landed.
I found that I fell in love with Spiced Marmalade, I will have to create something else and feature more of it but since this is about my National Day I needed to have plenty of pink center stage.
Once again I colored in the leaves on the branch from the New Leaf stamp set. I really love this cute little branch and for this card, I placed it on the right side of the card. Check out Woo to the Hoo to see how versatile this branch is as it can be flipped to use on either side of the card!

What a cute, cute card, Angela. I would know you would have a National Cat Day. Love your background and those cute cats on the fence and tree branch. Oh, give me summer forever.
