Today's Ways To Use It Challenge challenged us to rescue an old card. I chose to tackle a card that I had made a long time ago when my DD was into the boy band One Direction. I made an extra for my card rack that never sold. It featured Embossing folder stamping using a Union Jack ef. I started out by smearing red acrylic paint over the logo in the center. I added some smears of blue as well. I was on a quest today to rescue some "leftovers" from my scrap piles too so I took the reverse diecut to form my main sentiment. I added 2 strips of Washi tape as accents and as the 2 elements from this week's sketch. I'm not sure this really rescued the first card, but such it is.

Super cute on the rescue of this card. The addition of using scraps is always a great way to add embellishment to your card. Nicely done on the save for this delightful card.

Ah yes, One Direction. I have two DDs who were fans of that group too - though they are now embarrassed to admit that. This is a fun re-do of your original card. Very artsy, modern, and creative.
