Ally (thecircleguru) hosted today's sketch challenge. The sketch is unique, and I took the liberty to modify it slightly. When creating, I used the sketch upside down, and I didn't trim the side of the image circle (panel 4 of the sketch).
The image on my card is one designed by SCS' outstanding artist, Crissy Armstrong (#1artist4highhopes). I used copics to color the image, cut it out using a CottageCutz circle die, and adhered a circular piece of Hero Arts Swirl Tissue Paper to the back.
Because the penguin is enjoying sweet watermelon, I decided to make a strip (panel 3 of sketch) of watermelon seeds. Because he is sitting in a bed of flowers, I decided to add a strip of tiny flowers for panel 2 of the sketch.
I assembled the card using foam tape to adhere the image and tissue paper to the card.

Beautiful coloring and image and card, but I am mesmerized by the strip with watermelon seeds. How did you do it? Super fun stuff here, Bev!
