I loved the look of Sabrina's card WT646 Hot Dragonfly by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
and wanted to try the technique myself.
I will say this upfront. It is messy!!! The pearl Ex was and still is, all over in my craftroom. And that's after cleaning! That's the big negative about this technique. Everything else is fantastic. Though I would recommend doing this in the winter and not on a hot day like I did.
The F4A for today is to Put a Bow on it. Did that.
The Mix is to make a shadow. My shadow(s) is in the word Hugs. There is the copper layer, an aqua layer, and a blue layer to create the shadow effect.

Maybe doing it outside on a windless day?? Enjoyed reading about your tribulations with this technique, Jennifer. : ) Your card is GORGEOUS and I love the blues with the copper. The metallic copper ribbon is the perfect accent.

Oh, you got to love that Pearl EX!! It gets everywhere when you use it, but it sure creates beautiful panels. I love the copper metallic and the gorgeous ribbon! Wonderful card, Jennifer!!

Wow, I've never had Perfect Pearls go all over, but then at the most I have a couple of open windows, no air-conditioning. Now gilding flakes, that's a different story, I hardly dare breath. Did you not find that because you were adding the pearls to the glue, that was enough to stop them dusting everything else? But I'm sure you think it was worth it, seeing how beautiful the end result is.
