I made this card for the SCS color challenge. The challenge was to use the given specific colors and make a card with them. I find making cards with themes challenges easier than when only colors are given. But I am glad I tried. I loved the end result.
The challenge was to use yellow, purplish and green colors. I cheated a bit and added brown color to the rabbit's ears. Apart from that I used the given colors...almost.
I started by stamping this adorable image on my cardbase. Colored it with color pencils and die cut it with the rectangle die. I embossed the left out negative die cut with stars folder and lightly brushed it with sparkly golden pigment ink. It gives a nice shimmer to the raised stars. To make the center piece stand out, I outlined the image with a yellow color pencil, used the same golden ink on its margin and popped it up on dimensional tape. Lastly I used a yellowish card base. It looks really well with the golden and the yellow shading. Thanks for looking!
