I wanted to play in Audrie's challenge IC610 to draw inspiration from a site called Houzz. And, also another play at embossing ribbon, so fun and easy!
This butterfly was inspired by this oil painting, https://www.houzz.com/photos/9186178...rary-paintings. First, I stamped the butterfly in silver ink and then used daubers to apply various DOX inks stamping after each color application. Then I spritzed with water to make the colors slightly bleed and blend and to make its magic oxidization. I created a watercolor wash around the edges of the butterfly and when dry I dotted with markers in the wash area. I added the wide embossed ribbon and heart clip. Stamped hello and spritzed with water.
My poor butterfly looks as though he may have lost control of his bodily function, but I assure you he has not! :P

your story made me grin, this is the first time I have seen DOX so, I had to scroll down and see what was what. I like the rainbow effect to the wings on this a lot
