Never say never. I was not going to do a summer card for the alpha challenge. But I was just about to toss these as I have had them for a very long time and it occurred to me that I wanted to try the idea of covering the entire front of a card with versamark and embossing with clear e.p. So, it looks like I have created a summery collage I guess you could say.
I stamped the sentiment first using Misti, and first positioned the pieces with repositional tape. When I did the embossing, they curled up so I took off each one individually and taped them down properly . I went over the sentiment area again, as it looked like I had overheated in one area. This looks shiny irl.

Gasp! What a fabulous botanicals card this is Shirl- I love it!!!! Can you hear me chuckling my friend? You made a summer card and you made another 5x7 card! Wow! How cool is that? I am super impressed! All the heart and soul you put into this card truly shows and it will certainly delight whomever receives this wonderful card! ~Karen.

I have just that sheet of images too! ...and I have never known what to do with it. Thank you so much for this inspiration. I love the look of it! Into my favourites this goes and now I am off to find that sheet of botanical images! :-) (will be really funny if I can't find it now that I am inspired to finally use it)!
Gorgeousness! Seems we all say we struggle with making collages type of cards but yet when we do they become so beautiful.that others think we are pros at it. Yours sure is a masterpiece sis. Gorgeousness

Wow, Shirl, this is gorgeous! Such a pretty card, all the lovely flowers, that pretty butterfly down in the corner. Gorgeous! I have to chuckle at you saying, "Never say never!" in your description. That is a frequent saying in our house for good reason too! I'm glad you made the card!
