| | I made this card for the Letter B Alphabet Challenge. The Bs in my card are Color Burst powders; Blue and beads (as in microbeads). I took an A4 panel and sprinkled it with color burst powders and spritzed it heavily with water and set it aside to dry. Once dry, I held the flower die over this watercolored piece to see where I wanted to die cut from. I cut this chunk out and adhered a piece of Elizabeth Crafts Score Tape over the top of the "pretty side." Then placed my base flower die over the taped side and die cut it. Remove the release sheet and rub the microbeads into the tape really well. Layer the blue flower outline over the beaded piece using Tombo glue. For the beaded strip, I cut it out from the watercolored piece, applied a piece of 1/4" wide Score Tape and rubbed microbeads into the tape really well. Stamped sentiment using SU Dapper Denim ink and assembled the card. I tried and tried to get these beads to show up in the photograph, but no such luck. If you look at the strip piece you can kind of see that the beads are there. Thanks for looking. ~Karen. |
