Barbara's colors sure are bursting with pizzazz today. So fun!
I used my Precision Press to stamp the background--boy was that easy! I only had to place and stamp three times to cover the whole background. I had fun arranging the numbers for big number birthdays that get celebrated and I threw in 37 right at the top, because I'm 37 and I'm sure I must have someone who's also turning 37 soon to send this too.
Instead of looking for just the right colored paper to coordinate, I just colored the card base and shield shape with the BP7 Spectrum Noir and the sun shape with my LY1 to make sure the colors really coordinated perfectly. For the green I used Copic YG17. I love my Spectrum Noirs, but the greens are a bit lacking and needed to be supplemented with some Copics.

Oh, Jen, what a fun and happy card! I LOVE the candle numbers and how you've arranged and colored them! What a creative way to use them. And I see a number I am coming up on...uh-oh! It looks big too! LOL! Ah, well, it's just a number, right? Hugs!
