This started out as being for next Monday's TLC challenge - just to keep you all guessing ;-). And then I didn't want to cut it up, so I thought I'd use it for Julie Warner's challenge, but in the end I made it up into a card for Joanne's challenge today. I stamped the poppies, embossed with clear EP and coloured with Inktense pencils. Then I got to adding all the background stamping - mostly using Timeless Textures but also a script stamp. And then I sponged in some distress inks for colour.
Cut out the central portion, embossed the outer frame (SU Square Lattice) and sponged it for some extra contrast, and after stamping and embossing the verse from Verve (who are one of the generous prize sponsors of this event), I layered the centre onto foam tape and popped it back in.
The butterfly was flitting around my desk after DH rejected the idea that it should go on my TLC card this week, so before it got lost I added it on here. There is a little trail of glitter-pen sparkle under it, but I didn't do well in capturing it.

What a sweet card..that delicate butterfly is the finishing touch on this beauty! I love how you did the bg with the hint of script and also the framing using an outer frame that matches the bg of your inner panel...so cool!

Sabrina I love the look of this. I like the little texture stamps you used creating that phenomenal background that make the colors of the flowers just pop.

This is so gorgeous, Sabrina!! I love every detail, the poppies, the beautifully shaded background and delicate butterfly. I really love the way you staged the photo with the lace to showcase this beauty.
Thanks so much for making a card for my challenge!

Oh my, this is beautiful. I love the collage effect of that background behind the lovely poppy garden. I like the way you layered the two different sizes of butterfly die cuts, it looks great!
